Just want to agree with the above posts that are pleased to see the NSW programs being phased out of the schedule - the new format I think should work better to provide more detailed coverage and more scope for breaking news stories.
Yay! At least we get an extra hour of Lukwesa - although I do agree with an earlier post - Martin seems to lurk about and just "read the news", although I do like News, Sport, Weather; why not put them both on at 9?

Given the way in which he's gradually been relegated from being a lead presenter covering major events on location to being purely a headlines reader for an hour per day, I guess someone at Sky isn't a fan of his style. At least they keep him around for the "Peter Snow role" at elections and budget shows though.
Details of the Royal Wedding schedule from Sky Programme Info. It also looks like the bank holiday schedules will no longer be dominated by 15 minute NSW bulletins but instead by half hour Sky News bulletins.

It also looks like the bank holiday schedules will no longer be dominated by 15 minute NSW bulletins but instead by half hour Sky News bulletins.
It should be the Sky News Today format between 10am and 5pm if the Sky Programme Info grid is correct. Everything is shown as half hour blocks for ratings purposes (higher ratings for 30 minutes than an hour) but in reality it should be 'traditional' rolling coverage
Sky News Today was shown on Bank Holidays in early 2008, 10-2, double headed on a couple of occasions. Probably the only time double headed coverage had been pre-planned since the 2007 schedule change. But it wasn't long sadly until NSW came in 10-1 and The Live Desk 1-2 on Bank Holidays. And Christmas/New Year were 28 15 minute bulletin are broadcast in a row
On a separate note - shame they don't have Sky News at 7 on Fridays. An oddity in the schedule that every other day of the week there is something slightly less 'lazy' at 7pm

We note some complaints aimed incorrectly at Sky News presenter Anna Botting in connection with the sex grooming cases in Blackpool. It was in fact a guest newspaper reviewer who made the comment "Don’t go for a takeaway in Blackpool" and not Anna. We are sorry for any offence caused by the guest reviewer's remark.

And how many actually saw it LIVE. I think only people who saw it LIVE can complain - is this anything to do with it http://youtu.be/RTAq_ymdIs8?hd=1
