Interesting that Sky News are trying to sign up David Dimbleby for their Royal Wedding coverage.

Good luck with that... Laughing

Who anchored Sky's Royal Wedding coverage in 2005?

It's a bit less clear about who would present this kind of programming on Sky News, at least in comparison to the BBC and ITV who both have presenters you'd identify with presenting such special programmes (Dimbleby for the BBC and perhaps Alastair Stewart for ITV). I can only really think of Jeremy Thompson or Adam Boulton as being (vaguely) appropriate presenters for Royal Wedding coverage on Sky.

Boulton and Co was cancelled today too.. Anna Jones presented the 1pm hour from Sky News Centre..

No sign of Sarah Hughes for the last couple of Boulton and Co's either.

She's been on holiday for the past week. No doubt back on screen soon. (from Twitter)

Who anchored Sky's Royal Wedding coverage in 2005?

Of course that was street based, with no wedding to cover. IIRC Kay Burley was there and I'm sure Alaistair Bruce did his usual insights.

Jeremy stayed on until just before 8pm tonight with the latest on the crisis in Egypt and it was nice to see Martin Stanford doing some proper rolling news instead of the 15 minutes every 15 minutes between 8 & 10pm, Matt Smith on from 10pm

Seems mad to have Matt leading the coverage at 10 on such a big news night.

^^^ I agree. Don't get what Sky bosses see in him to give him so much exposure. Where is Steve Dixon?
