Gavin Ramjaun, who is a regular sports presenter on Sky News, is on the overnight shift tonight - currently presenting the Midnight News. Don’t think I’ve seen him do news presenting on the channel.

He's also a BBC World News sportscaster in Salford from time to time.

I've seen him on once or twice before in the last few weeks

They also had Jamie Wier on again one night this week

The 2 reporters are doing a good job of presenting the coverage from Thailand today. I'm surprised they didn't keep Lisa Holland there as she is one of the more senior correspondents and has presented coverage in the past from multiple countries

You can imagine in the 'glory days' of Sky News that they'd send Kay Burley or JT to cover the story, but Sally Lockwood and Alex Rossi have been excellent in their own right.

Sally seems to be one of those who does a mix of both reporting and presenting - with Rebecca Williams being another example.

Was good to see Niall Paterson back in the SROS slot today filling in Sophy. Sophy's good but I really feel he made that slot his own when he covered her maternity leave.

Sally did both at ITV Central and 5 News, along with Rebecca Williams when she was at BBC South East.

Worth noting that Rebecca Williams just after joining Sky News was on a reporting shift during the Paris Attacks in Osterley and was on-air overnight with the main presenter. So comes as no surprise that she handled today's breaking news well.
