Anna Jones covering Kay's shift this afternoon. Probably the first time she's been on at this time for a good few years!

She and Anna Botting are my favourites at Sky now, so glad they both do the Evening News and Press Preview slots.

It seems that he's leaving to begin a role as a broadcast spokesperson for the rail industry.

They've both made the evening slots their own. Whenever either Anna Botting/Jones is absent, it really shows (not a reflection on whoever is covering for them, I should add). Mind you, this applies to other presenters as well - Kay certainly being one of them.

Yes - Anna Jones was underused for many years as merely a relief presenter, but I'm delighted that she has been a regular since Mark Longhurst left.

Can only echo what others have said about Anna Jones. She's fantastic - professional but warm and effortlessly handles both the breaking news and the lighter stuff and good in both a pairing and anchoring solo.
One of the very best on Sky News.

It's hard to believe they once had her just doing 3-minute business updates.

Anna Jones is good on Sky's TV output, but (in common with a few others) is poor when reading
Sky's three minute radio bulletins for the commercial radio stations, seems to think she has to shout the script.
