The reason I ask is the last week or two he was still on the EPG as being the host - even though technically he was supposed to be maternity cover for Sarah and she was back last week.

Mark Austin presented the special programme at 1am -4:20am on the State of the Union address and is doing Sunrise too in Washington with Sarah Jane in the studio
Still no Anna Botting tonight, must be around three weeks now.

For this week, possibly. Anna Jones has been doing a lot more than her Friday-Sunday evening shifts recently, so I'm assuming we won't see her for a couple of weeks now.
Perhaps they'll do what they did last week, with Gamal back doing the 15:00-19:00 shift on Friday and Sarah covering Anna Jones' 21:00-00:00 shift.

As for Anna Botting, she's been absent for several weeks, but normally she is doing Mon-Wed and alternate Thursdays from what I have seen - it's good to have her back as she's probably the best at the Press Preview, even if Anna Jones is a more than capable replacement.

I've certainly missed her doing the papers with Andrew and Kevin over the last few weeks; I'm thoroughly looking forward to next Monday night!
Aside from Anna Botting and Anna Jones, I think Stephen Dixon is rather good on the Press Preview when he provides cover (most probably down to his experience on the Paper Review on Sunrise). Anyway, I digress.
