Jonathan Samuels and Emma Crosby on Sunrise - is this her first Sunrise?

Since she returned to Sky News, yes.

Is she now signed up to be on Sky News or still just freelance cover?

She only popped up very occasionally following the summer but since they started doing work on the glass box and new studio she's popped up a lot more often.

Is Emma the first Sky News contracted presenter to leave and go to another broadcaster and return?

I remember reporter Rachel Younger defecting to C4 News and coming back to Sky (and then going to ITV News)

Tom has confirmed he will be teaming up with Sam Washington on Fridays going forward.

This would suggest that the 11-15 strand will be anchored by both of them with Tom replacing Niall and Sam replacing Gillian who has moved to Sunrise as we already know.

Gamal Fahnbulleh used to present overnights on Sky News and then moved to ITV Breakfast briefly in 2014. Shortly afterwards, he moved back to Sky News and is now appearing more than ever.

Apart from his Sunday morning programme (until Sophy Ridge returns), he'll most likely remain as a Friday only presenter on Sky News Tonight.

I'd imagine they'll be using him for cover as well, as someone else mentioned.

I do hope Niall retains the Sunday morning slot when Sophy returns. Although I do like her, he seems much more natural in the role and has really fitted into it well.
