She suggested she would a while back and her twitter still references her as a presenter.
Today so far
6.00am - 10.00am - Jonathan and Claudia
10.00am - 2.00pm - Jayne
2.00pm - 5.00pm - Gamal
5.00pm - 8.00pm - Emma
Is Emma Crosby freelance cover used when nobody else can fill in? She seems to only pop up occasionally - does a shift or two and won't be seen for a couple of weeks and the same pattern reoccurs?

As an old long time viewer of Sky News which used to have a really strong presenting lineup, I look at that list of names, and I think.... who are these?
I'm not the biggest fan of Jonathan Samuels as a presenter, he's okay but better on location, whereas Jayne is a good well rounded presenter, nothing amazing but she's good at what she does and is someone who also is good on location.
Gamal for me has gravitas, and handles breaking news well. He's probably your perfect relief presenter as he can fill in on the more relaxed output, the more serious output, Press Preview and any shift and not really look out of place. Maybe doesn't quite have the presence of some of the senior anchors but he's still fairly early in his career.
Emma Crosby seems to be an accomplished presenter, but I haven't seen her really do any breaking news, tough interviews, or anchor prime shifts on her own so it's hard to really judge her since I don't remember her the first time around from all those years ago.
Claudia for me has improved a lot in the last year and honestly I'd have liked to see her replace Isabel on maternity leave, she really does fit in well for Sunrise but it'll be interesting to see how she does on 5 News.
They miss JT though, that is for sure and I'm not convinced that Kimberley Leonard will ever be a good presenter, she's the weakest in the stable for me now Eric has (thankfully) gone.

The last bit I disagree with, as Sam Naz is much weaker than Kimberley, however I have been watching some overnights recently, and Nick is a real contender

Overnights I slightly prefer Sam Naz to Kimberley but during the day Kimberley is a touch better than Sam Naz, but really it's not saying much - I don't rate either of them as anything over than overnight and an a relief to be used when there is no other option.
With Claudia gone next week, you're going to be left with Kimberley and Sam Naz as really the only relief for the female shift on the double-headed segments and also going to have to find someone to in turn back-fill for them on the overnights as well - the fact that they've tried a few people there recently suggests this may be the road they go down.
Looking at other options - Sarah will be back but will she want the unpredictable nature of being a relief with a young child? They could use Emma Crosby more I guess, although she's only freelance and she hasn't exactly been on regular. Maybe Rebecca will turn out to be an occasional option? She's certainly better than Sam and Kimberley but never saw her work in a two before.
