The thing is I'm basing that on the context that Isabel Webster is going on maternity leave and Claudia going at the same time means effectively they are going to be two female presenters down to what they are right now.

The female part is important because Sunrise and Sky News Today are pretty much one male and one female by standard so really unless there is going to be wider schedule changes you're going to be left with Kimberley and Sam Naz to fill in for Isabel both of which are poorer than Claudia in my book.

With that in mind until Sarah Hewson is back I would look to move Gillian back to Sunrise on Saturday and Sunday and then you can use Gamal and Tom to backfill for her with Sam/Kimberley/Rebecca as mostly cover for Sunrise and Sky News Today's female slots.

Considering we're slowly heading into the Christmas period, I won't be surprised if we see more correspondents or general reporters popping up on the off-peak shifts this week and then over Christmas week.

Rebecca Williams has been semi-regular at weekends over the year and is on again presenting the lunchtime shift.

Emma Crosby seems to have appeared very infrequently since her debut a couple of months ago, sometimes weeks without seeing her, I assume from that she is freelancing?

I imagine we will see a lot of Tom and Gamal covering the prime shifts in the next few weeks, being the main relief reporters who seem to be able to turn their hand at anything.

Surprised Lewis Goodall hasn’t appeared in the presenters chair yet - he comes across well on screen and went down well on election night.

I have to admit he has surprised me - I thought he came across as quite smug when I first saw him on Sky but over time he's grown on me and is a rising star of Sky and one of those who has benefited from the exits of many staff over the last 12-18 months.

Colin & Jayne are technically doing the late shift together, with Colin in the studio and Jayne in Catalonia.
