Bad news, Sam Kiley has been nothing short of exceptional. Big shoes to fill.

Agreed on the above. Before joining Sky Sam had no TV background initially starting as Security Editor and then filling the large shoes of Tim Marshall as Foreign Affairs Editor. He has done a brilliant job. Not forgetting he was with Mick Deane in Cairo when he was shot and put together an amazing report on that day. He will be missed. I hope they put in Staurt Ramsay as their next Foreign Affairs Editor, another incredible journalist.

Niall Paterson really is excellent on his Sunday morning show. I can see him being poached for something more high profile in the near future.

It does make me wonder if Sophy Ridge will get that slot back or will be sidelined into another presenting role?

I know this is a while off yet but who do we think will replace Isabel Webster on Sunrise when she goes on maternity leave? My guess is Claudia-Liza Armah as she seems to cover quite a few Sunrise's but I wouldn't mind seeing Gillian Joseph back with Stephen too.

She is a loss that is for sure as she's been doing great recently.
If they're going to go with female/male line-up now Gillian could be a possibility with Tom/Gamal taking over from her in the short term?
When Sarah/Sophy are back I guess Niall could go into Gillian's shift.

I'm not sure about her being a loss on Sky. She's great on BBC London and I'm sure will do well on Five but her handling of breaking news was very poor compared to others at Sky.
