Sky News: Presenters & Rotas

To be fair to Ginny, she was quite good during the 2005 era of Sky News Today. I quite liked her by the end.

Reading her Wiki, it appears she presented the Australian version of Newsround, then came back to the UK to present Holiday and then ended up on Sky News.

I remember her being horribly wooden and one of the major fails of Sky News in 2005. Only James Rubin was worse.

Then you'll be delighted to hear it isn't her.

Perhaps Sam Washington who has been away for a while.

Penny Smith would be great and is more than capable of doing the light chat with Colin or whoever is scheduled with the mystery presenter.

Penny is great. A few years ago she came back to Sky to do La Boheme live from The Coliseum. Sky Arts 1 showed the opera live, while Sky Arts 2 was live backstage hosted by Penny. A three hour tour de force.

Mark Longhurst's 2015 Election programme was a similar concept.

Oh I really hope it's Penny! She's disappeared since being sacked from GMTV and is too good a talent to waste.

I would agree, but sadly, it's not her.
