Worth noting that former ITV News Channel TV reporter Louisa Pilbeam has been doing some reporting shifts this Easter.
According to her Twitter, she's freelancing for Sky and ITV News.

Don't really like Eric, his voice is too loud for the hour he's on, I had Sky News on in the background one night doing something else and found him really distracting, feels like he is raising his voice the whole time.

Kay Burley really excellent today, love her around elections and such big political events, gives everyone a grilling and doesn't take any prisoners!

Sarah-Jane Mee is finally making Sunrise her own. Excellent delivery of both the Sunrise after the recent terrorist attack and this morning from College Green.

Fortunate that Sky have correspondents in Paris covering the election on Sunday for the current breaking news in the city which may be terrorist related.
Michelle Clifford and Dominic Waghorn are currently reporting.

Sky have been poor tonight.
Stuck in that god-awful Pledge programme for 45 minutes before it was interrupted to break the Paris news... even Fox were in rolling coverage before them.
Then rigidly stuck to News at Ten format, not taking Hollande's statement (carried live elsewhere).
I have no problem with them doing appointment to view stuff, but they need to drop it quickly when breaking news happens.
A real miss for them tonight.

Disagree really - people are too quick to go for the terror angle now in what could be an isolated unconnected incident. It also isn't a developing story unlike previous French attacks which almost unfolded live, so I think a restrained approach of reporting on the facts after more is known rather than going into full on rolling news is probably the right call.

That's exactly what happened.

Fact is that Sky is not a first choice for breaking news between 2000-2100 on a Thursday because of the The Pledge.
However, the first channel I heard about the incident was Al Jazeera English.
