You won't be disappointed!
Watching Anna Jones presenting the other day, I remembered how good she is. Hopefully shes given a plum spot on the new schedule - maybe overtaking Murnaghan on Saturday & Sunday, or replacing Jeremy for the flagship 5pm bulletin once he retires?
She's criminally underused at present IMO

It is odd that Anna Jones, Anna Botting and Martin Stanford were on an equal level at Sky News Today in 2005, Anna B got the 10pm and Martin did EVERYTHING digital or newswall related and Anna J got nothing special. She was Anna B's mat cover (she did very well!), I remember around 2012/2013 she was being shunted around the weekends and they haven't really found her a slot since. Did she not join Sky for the 2005 relaunch? And she's only had one show for about 2 years...

Although I'm really uncomfortable with Sky News seemingly paying the price for overspending on the Premier League rights I hope that actually long term these changes actually prove positive for Sky News and somewhat kick it back into gear.
It's been just going through the motions for the last couple of years and actually making the channel line up somewhat unrecogniseable to what we're used too isn't such a bad thing. It's also far better that all this is happening at once meaning bosses are having to look at the schedule as a whole to make savings - it feels more like a streamlining of operations rather than the death by a 1000 cuts the BBC News channel has been going through over the last year or two.

Well it makes sense, back in the day there were monitor covers and keyboard covers, people wouldn't want to damage their newfangled optical mice with dust.
I'd like to think that upon removing the mouse mat cover, it was exactly like the end of the top of the hour sequence at the time, revealing the dust free Sky News team in front of the newswall.

Not to tell tales out-of-school, but I discovered the other day (quite by accident) that she also does a fantastic Bruce Forsyth impersonation!
... and you all think I'm shy of giving behind-the-scenes insights!
