Another fiery press preview tonight!

Normally like the double act of Pierce and Maguire but tonight Pierce is really testing my patience, upon being asked to comment upon the intimidation that immigrants have been given since the brexit vote, refused to condemn them, after which Anna Botting said they were being racist and Pierce said it was outrageous and seems to be a little tension there now!

Twitter seems to be about 50/50, I hate when Pierce knows he can't win an argument he always talks over everyone else, it's spoiling a proper debate.

I enjoy the press previews most on a Monday because of these 3 but I didn't like Anna saying that and I do agree that its annoying when Andrew just talks constantly. I'd say most are with Andrew on Twitter than Anna.

You can tell (in my opinion) that most of the media voted to remain and are struggling to hide their anger at not getting their own way for once, I'm not specifically talking about sky news either.

Going by that report, the Mirror got Mark Longhurst wrong, but the other two right.

Very sorry to hear that they are leaving.

Sad to see many people at Sky losing their jobs seemingly so footballers can have an extra few thousand quid in their pocket every week. We've been waiting years for the bubble to burst but when you're having to make redundancies across the business to help fund such rights fees you have clearly overbid for those rights.

And I'd add that we still have the likes of Sarpong and Ferrari on the payroll to 5 viewers every Thursday evening, while the loss of Andrew Wilson and Lorna Dunkley are a big loss.

Yet they're splashing out on another new premises in just over a decade.

Ironically, the channel was most successful in it's quite contained smaller operational studio before 2005.

And they've never really recovered from the 2005 rebrand. BFMTV in France uses a similar format to the old Sky News with the video wall backdrop and double headed bulletins with a tabloid punch.

Of course John Riley being in control since 2006, which I consider the year it started falling apart - as Sky News how I knew it. Downward spiral since them in my opinion.

What is happening to the current Sky newsroom when they move to their new premises?

Demolition? I thought the overall aim was for the new style campus to fill the whole site eventually.
