Well it is nothing like Fox's The Five as someone on here thought it would be. It is more like Loose Women which I thought it would be. It's hardly cutting edge either. I guess recording it makes it easier to cut if news breaks rather than dodgy two-way with Sky News Centre.

It's recorded AT Sky News Centre - Studio B - most-notably used for last year's election coverage.

Actually it was Studio F, next door

Forgive me - I've been on-leave this week. Looked like B from the rehearsal videos I'd seen.

No worries. Same studio as Monday Night Football

Here is a better quality version:

Outside shot appeared to be live , but show seems pre-recorded which is quite disappointing to be honest.

The outside shot was also pre-recorded. It wasn't dark in London when the show started. Looked good though.

Live at five with Jeremy
I think Sophy Ridge is a great pol cor but having her as the presenter on the flagship show which is usually presented by Sky's most respected anchor just isn't what you'd expect. I would have thought someone like Andrew Wilson, Mark Longhurst or Anna Jones who have over 50 years of presenting behind them collectively would be asked to cover rather than someone who does very occasional relief cover.

Niall Paterson in the JT slot today.

That was a change of plan since SR said on twitter she was doing rest of week earlier in the week.

Better choice though.

As if its isn't bad enough that The Pledge is on Thursday and Sunday at 8pm they are also showing it now in the midnight slot

I thought The Pledge would be an hour of 5 people talking over each other and it was but the men were generally quite good at letting the others speak, however June in particular needs to stop butting in all the time and keep her mouth shut for more than 5 seconds + having 5 topics squeezed into a 45 minute slot is too much they don't get much time to debate each thing. I also found the constant camera switching every 2 seconds irritating - spend more time on the wide shots.

On the positive side I like the branding, the studio and the Boris come back song - maybe a Friday slot at 8pm would be better. They could move week in review to 6:30 then we have a programme scheduled at 6:30 every weekday and it makes more sense to have Sky News Tonight shorter on a Friday than randomly in the week.

Thanks to the repeat of The Pledge and double Sportsline on Sunday between 7pm and 10pm we get only 40 minutes of news.

Charlotte Lomas is showing her versatility. On biz duty today, as far as I know, she's also presented overnights, Sky Sports News HQ bulletins for Sky News and general reporting.

Seem to be short of presenters this weekend, Claudia Liza Armah and Phil Lavelle on today, Lorna Dunkley doing this afternoon which I think is her shift though.

Sarah Jane Mee is in Leicester tonight to cover the Premier League win. Don't think we will be seeing her tomorrow morning on Sunrise

I'm sure she would have never have dreamed of this day when she would have been covering Leicester in the Football League on Central Soccer Night.
