I've noticed they have been trying out some reporters on the overnight slot in the last 2 weeks, Usually they do 30 mins to an hour 1 night followed by a full night. So far we have had Dominic Waghorn, Afua Hirsch, Robert Nisbet and Sophy Ridge.

Indeed, they did this last year when Lukwesa Burak left Sky.

This was to find a new permanent overnight presenter, who now is Kimberley Leonard.

We saw Claudia-Liza Armah, Phil Lavelle, Lucy Cotter and Toby Sadler.

Also, insider Skygeek said last year that new faces to do some overnights and trials seem to be back on again for the last few weeks this year.
Yes, there'll be some other new/possibly unexpected faces in the overnight chair over the coming weeks.

With Eamonn Holmes now on his 10 week leave, we will see all sorts of presenters shifted around to cover for him. Sarah Jane Mee will be a likely one to be main presenter, which saw newbie Kimberley move to newsreader of Sunrise - this will bring many more of the new faces to overnights for the next few months to come.

Still not seen Jannat Jalill since the end of December and even at that point she hadn't been seen since she was in Paris.

Has she left?

I seen Jannat during a report on another network. Their camera showed the media and reporters at a press conference, and she was at the front writing. I think it was during a BBC News report, but cannot be sure. It was a few weeks back.

This was answered earlier in the thread that she left a while ago.

Thanks for the heads up, I will avoid the show until Eamonn gets back then.

Sarah-Jane Mee has only got the cover gig because Isabel Webster is still on maternity leave.

Not my first choice personally.

I like Sara Jane, I'd like her to be Eamonn's full time partner. It's Niall I don't like. Not as a presenter anyway.

Indeed, seems like she has. Her first time presenting today I think too

Going through Zattoo Switzerland's 'recall' feature, she presented the 0900 CNN Newsroom and the 1030 heads.

I assume she will be cover for Max Foster who presents this shift on weekdays. She said she'll appear on air this weekend as well. London now occasionally covers for Atlanta on weekends so she'll probably be doing those as well.
