Very sad to see Joey go. He was an excellent political correspondent and a great journalist. His reporting from France in the wake of the terror attacks at the beginning of the year typified this. He will be sadly missed on TV. I predict Robert Nisbet may be the person to fill his shoes as Deputy Political Editor.

I think so. I strongly suspect that job goes to the BBC's James Landale, though. It's been very quiet where Landale is concerned, other than the fact he now follows itv on Twitter - as reported elsewhere. It will probably be announced ahead of the relaunch of News at Ten.

She also did Sunrise a couple of times a week or two ago. She was my choice to replace Charlotte, but Isabel got it. Perhaps she'll do Isabel's maternity?

I can't cap it unfortunately, but how long has the cartoon sing-song advert for Murnaghan been airing? It's certainly an interesting way to advertise a political talk show...
