Yes. It is more the case that he wasn't aware of the party line.

It's perfectly fine for you -- the viewer -- to come to that conclusion, but if the anchor gets on a soapbox and essentially calls his guest dishonest (without any evidence), that's unprofessional. I'm all for tough questioning of politicians, but in this case, Murnaghan was out of line.

He offered him the chance to return half an hour later. However, my point still stands - it was the top story that afternoon - as a member of the opposition, he SHOULD have read the letter.

I think you should have seen the whole situation live, that's what made it so funny!

Paula Middlehurst with Steve Dixon on Sunrise this morning. I haven't seen Paula on-screen for ages, let alone ever on Sunrise. One of the best Sky News presenters, IMO.

Although Steve has just thrown her several curved balls by progressing the paper review which is a clear change in the running order, and then proceeded to insult her (jokingly) about 'typical women' not being capable.........must watch this to the end this morning!

Edit: Steve has now given Paula a glass of his urine* for her to sniff during the break...........blimey! Sky News???

*Mountain Dew, actually, but pass-off as urine.

They're old friends, both with a wicked sense-of-humour. As long as the audience don't feel excluded (which can sometimes be the danger of such pairings), then I'm all for it!
cityprod and London Lite gave kudos
