Siobhan Robbins is to be Sky's new West of England correspondent based in Bristol, succeeding Isabel Webster, who, of course, is now partnered with Eamonn Holmes on "Sunrise".
Any news on a new Royal Correspondent? Also wondering why Faisal Islam still has no bio on the website?

Well, it was only formally advertised a week or ten days ago, so not yet - and as for Faisal, I don't know, but I'm not losing any sleep over it... nor, I should imagine, is he!

Nor will I may I add. Thanks for the reply. Have enjoyed the on air changes in recent times.

Sky News Correspondent and substitute anchor Rachel Younger is joining ITV as Health Editor. Interesting appointment.

Did anyone get to the bottom of why Catherine Jones was appointed Health Editor and then only seemed to do the job for about five minutes?

Starting this coming Monday, Dharshini David will act as Sarah Hewson's maternity cover on "Sky News Tonight".

Could've chosen someone a bit better IMO...

What's wrong with Dharshini?

What's wrong with Dharshini?

Just really dislike watching anything with her, and I don't feel she is experienced enough at business news, specifically business updates , to do general news.

Isn't this the same Dharshini David who did biz bulletins on the NC and before working at Sky News was at Tesco? Perfectly qualified for the job.

From what I've seen of her - she's a very capable presenter. And the thing about business... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dharshini_David

Seems like the perfect person to me.

She also played a major role at the last general election following around David Cameron on the campaign trail. It is during this time I recognised that Dharshini would play a prominent role as she was superb during the election. She's the perfect replacement for Sarah Hewson, couldn't think of anyone better to do the job.

Eh? Are we talking about the same person. Former BBC Economics correspondent, BBC News 24 and BBC World Business Presenter, New York Business Presenter and presenter of World Business Report. She has more than a decade of business reporting and presenting experience I believe... How much more experience does she need?

She took a break from journalism and the BBC to work in PR at Tesco, and returned to broadcasting at Sky after this, but has bags of experience both in presenting and reporting.
