For a rolling news slot, an hour and a half isn't very long for Jeremy Thompson. I wonder if they will put more interviews in the slot or make it more bulletin like?

Surely Sky have missed a trick by not having Ian King on at 6pm? Then they could call their show from the heart of London's financial district "Six in the City".
He used to present Sport on Afternoon Live with Kay, the last I saw him.
Kay was pleased to be speaking to him after his sport section she said whilst we still have you here and then she said his birthday was the 11th September and asked him when hers was. he didn't know so she said I'll let you find out for next time, Its always great to chat to you Jon - I used to enjoy their little chats at the desk they were often quite cringy though.
I find it odd that the promo for Ian King Live doesn't say what time its on either - Id imagine most people just think its the business live replacement at 7pm
well he came from a newspaper background (seems to be the fashionable route of hiring correspondents at the moment) so still looks uncomfortable on camera. Mark Kleinman is another one who looks a bit ill at ease, although he seems to bring in the stories
