Looking at Twitter sounds like Hannah Tallett has been on overnight. I think she is very good and should be on Sunrise or evenings when I can watch!

She will be doing the bulletins on this Sunday's Murnaghan though Smile

Sky News have ditched Bouton and Co this lunchtime and stayed with Colin Brazier. Great use of the big screen for this story. It really does enhance the coverage. Must say what a job Colin and James Matthews are doing. They really are broadcasters of the highest calibre. Adam Boulton doesn't really do breaking news that well and the right decision I believe to stay with Colin in Osterley.

EDIT: At 13:17 coverage moved to Westminster joining Adam Boulton for other news.

Yes, Gordon Brown is the local MP so Kay was here because of him.

A sign of things to come?
Kay burley just introduced Joey Jones as 'Political Editor' - strap still says 'Deputy PE' though. Probably just a slip of the tongue by Kay, but who knows...

Sam Kiley has been announced as the new foreign affairs editor. Im sure he'll do a great job. His stint in the Middle East was short lived and I haven't seen him do a live from Jerusalem in months. He's a solid appointment in my view and will complement his field role well with Tim Marshall's analytical and forensic new role. This leaves open a post for Middle East Correspondent. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tom Rayner get the job as he has been doing the bulk of the reporting from there in recent times.

What's happening with Tim Marshall? What's his new role?

I've seen a couple of tweets which suggested Tim Marshall was ill. Not sure how serious (if at all) it is.

Oh, I see. Ta. Seems a bit of a sideways move really - since Diplomatic Editor and Foreign Affairs Editor are pretty similar roles.
