Is anyone else finding Kay annoying over the last 2 days? They keep having debates in the studio and she constantly interrupts people and then talks over them saying they are running out of time

Eamonn has been just as bad on sunrise these last couple of days if its something he's not interested in he just cuts Charlotte off, never mind about that I want to talk about this, maybe some of us were interested in what she was saying don't be so rude all the time

The same thing happens during the paper review someone can be in the middle of explaining something and he just cuts them off as he's not interested in that story

Aaron Armstrong was on overnight from midnight to 6am

He's on again tonight from Osterley.

Wonder why the overnights are not coming from Westminster like practically everything else. Seems a bit strange. The camera is being kept away from the news wall side though just showing the opposite one.

Gives me the impression the only change will be the news wall side of the studio, since if they were making wholesale changes you'd think they wouldn't broadcast from there at all.

Perhaps the workmen get to go home at midnight?

Kay Burley celebrates 25 years at Sky News, gets new five-year contract

Kay Burley has celebrated her 25 years at Sky News and signed a new five-year contract with the channel.

The presenter will continue in her 2pm-5pm weekday slot and her contributions to the channel's digital output.

"When I joined Sky News 25 years ago the aim was to break the mould by offering viewers the choice of when to watch news," Burley said.

"Today we're viewed all over the world via many different platforms. I am immensely proud of what we continue to achieve."

Head of Sky News John Ryley: "Kay has been at the forefront of Sky News for 25 years.

"She has demonstrated her ability to adapt with the ever evolving production of news and has been at the heart of our coverage of many key breaking news stories."

He added: "From the fall of the Berlin Wall to the birth of a future king, Kay has had an eventful quarter of a century.

"It is an extraordinary achievement and I'm delighted Kay is on board to be part of our exciting future in non-stop news."

And to celebrate her 25th anniversary and a new 5 year deal, Kay handed the baton to Charlotte Hawkins for today's Afternoon Live. For one day only.

Yay for Kay.

Do rota reshuffles not exist anymore?

They probably don't do them for fun and do them when there is a reason too.
