Adam Boulton on from 1pm-3pm then Jeremy Thompson & Gillian Joseph took over from 3pm

What - no Kay Burley!

No not today it looks like Gillian was meant to be on 2-5 then Jeremy 5-7

Andrew Wilson has been on from 8pm until midnight

Edit: Andrew stayed on a bit longer until 12:30 when the overnight presenter took over which was Hannah Tallet

Shouldn't Anna Jones/late shift cover be working to 1am as Anna Botting did Sky News at Midnight too.

That changed when the 9PM shift became part of the late shift with the Press Preview, even when Anna Botting was there. Previously it was 10-12:30 but changed to 9-12

Ah right! When did that happen?

Well actually a good question , the major programme axe was on APRIL 10 2011 and the launch of skynews at nine must have been a short time afterwards.

According to the latest update on the Sky Programme Information site, a new show 'Sky News at 9' launches tonight.

Presented by Anna Botting it is described as,
Quote:
All the day's news from Sky News correspondents around the world, presented by Anna Botting.

And is followed at 9.30 by a Press Preview,
Quote:
A full review of the best stories in tomorrow's national newspapers.

The news every 20 minutes format now lasts just an hour, between and 8 and 9.

Will be interesting to see how having two 30 minute press previews works or whether the 9.30 edition will be shorter.

While I am pleased they seem to be phasing out the NSW bulletins, I don't see why Martin Stanford couldn't have presented the new 9pm programme.

Here DanielK, I have just browsed the whole thread and found the answer above. This was posted on APRIL 4 2011, the day when Anna Botting had her shift from 9pm-12am .

What programmes were axed? Is that when Skynews.com was axed? I thought that was longer ago but could be confused....

Swipe now seems to be getting aired on Friday night at around 7.45pm each week (Technology Program).

Maryam was only ever freelancing for Sky to fill in for Paula/Phillipa/Hannah when they were not available for the midnight news. All three are back now so there is less of a need for her, she's now freelancing for AJE.

I saw Martin Stanford do the paper review twice, he was awful.

Aren't AJE moving all their presentation to Doha? If so, hope Maryam stays on our screens in some capacity.

Oh OK - more of a rebrand I'd say as the programmes still exist (albeit not in name).

It has been posted in another thread that there are rumours of a possible reshuffle in may/June. Judging by the recent placing of presenters covering slots that are unusual to them; the increasing use of double headed presentation again for breaking news; The format of sunrise, more or less, being completely double headed and the return of Sarah Hewson and Anna Botting expected soon - it possibly hints that this may be true.

It can also be noted that Eamonn Holmes recently tweeted Hannah Tallett about him looking forward to Hannah getting a change of shift soon and suggesting that he thinks mornings would be very well suited to her. Hannah for sunrise maybe?

Not to forget Samantha Simmonds who's currently on maternity leave as well.
