Great to see Maryam Nemazee presenting the overnight shift, particularly after the news of the Moody's cut, good conversation with Ed Conway - it's just a bit of a shame that it's on the graveyard shift. Still, Bloomberg's current London US-controlled (down to 4/5 hrs) output looks awful, particularly in contrast to CNBC. Perhaps Sky News could 'mobilise' her further?

She is rather good isn't she? Don't know if there is any chance of her being took on full time though as I believe she is just freelance cover at the moment.

Isabel Webster has also been pretty good during the week, looks a real natural presenter.

Difficult to see where they can fit either of them in regularly though, unless someone leaves.

I think Maryam is great, even better than Isabel.

I'm a fan of Mark Longhurst but recently he's starting to become really annoying constantly interrupting people both during interviews and more so on the press previews, He asks 1 of the paper reviewers a question they get 4 words out if lucky and then he breaks in with either a umm or errrr followed by another question

Yeah that annoys me big time, however last time he was on along with Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire, he didn't get a word in edgeways due to Maguire and Pierce's comedic bickering...

I have to agree. Whenever Mark's presenting Press Preview I usually find myself moaning about him or switching off completely. I know he's been with Sky for a number of years but I don't think hes suited to the late news and especially the Press Preview. If he's presenting its always rather serious and I prefer for the presenter to have a bit of 'banter' with the guests, a little informality even.

I was wondering why Sophie Ridge did the weekend shifts recently.

Yes I haven't seen him in a while. Adam Boulton was working on Saturday. A loss particularly for his entertainment value. He left many a presenter laughing with his peculiar style of Political reporting.

That's a real shame, a great journalist with a colourful character.

I'd have him over Adam Boulton any day.
