I was saying it's very strange to see Rachel Younger on such a high profile shift, I'd consider Sunrise, 5-7 and 9-12 the most high profile shifts and it's rare you see someone who is not an established anchor on them.

Also are they running a bit short on political reporters this week? Sophy Ridge was pretty much appearing on screen from Sunrise until 9pm on lives all day yesterday, then to be relieved by Gamal who was then reporting from the Studio in Westminster who I've never seen used in that role?.

You do realise its the tail end of the Christmas and new year holidays still, don't you?

Samantha Washington presenting the midnight news again. I haven´t seen her presenting since Dharshini David returned.
