What is the story with Lukwesa also? Apart from the fact she's looked very annoyed on screen lately, she's been off air more than she has been on Monday to Thursday for the last six months.

She's been dropped from the press office website also.

Possibly she's went freelance? No freelancers are on the press office website eg. Phillipa Tomson, Paula Middlehurst. So that could explain why she's appearing less frequently and been removed fom the website, unsure why she looks annoyed! :')

There are freelancers on there actually, like Chloe Potter so it's not just that.

I saw someone post on twitter from Sky a few weeks ago that they are trying to use freelancers less going forward and certainly in recent times they're using Gamal Fambulleh and Rachel Younger much more in presenting roles and even Niall Patterson being used whilst people have also been working double shifts quite often or extra shifts.

However saying that don't think I've ever seen so many freelance sports presenters, there must have been about 10 or so that have been used in the last month.

Chloe Potter is full time employed by Sky News, mostly as presenter of bulletins on Sky News’ interactive news service. She is main presenter there along with Gemma Morris and Philippa Hall.

They are very quick indeed to remove all freelancers from press office site, so I'd assume that Lukwesa has gone freelance.

Alex Rossi was just called Asia Correspondent.

But he is Asia Correspondent for quite some time now, heading New Delhi bureau.

The continuing determination to use as little freelance cover as possible sees Sophy Ridge make her presenting debut on Boulton & Co.

She's quite poor. Her vocal style is not really suited to presenting.

Sarah-Jane Mee (freelance) covered Sunrise, which explains why Sophy was covering.

Sarah-Jane Mee has been sky now for quite a while, despite what Wikipedia says.

I think Sarah Jane Me was freelance but she's been regular cover for Sarah Hewson (on Maternity Leave) on Bolton & Co. and is now employed by Sky as opposed to been freelance I believe, even if only temporary.

Sarah Jane Mee has done a lot of work with all of Sky over the past couple of years. She presented Cricket AM and also did some voiceover work for Sky Broadband. So I'm not sure whether she has been freelance at all of late.

Just because someone has been acting as regular cover, doesn't stop them from being freelance. Charlie Stayt, presenter of BBC Breakfast every weekend, is freelance.
