Must be her first time presenting a major strand on Sky News, I've never seen her on anything other than NSW, summary presenter on Sunrise or overnight. Seems she has impressed someone!

To be fair, Jeremy Thompson is anchoring the program, albeit from Athens, and Jannat has been reading the news on television for many years. So, I don't really think its beyond the realms of possibility that she would read at primetime.
Jannat was doing more than reading news, she was conducting interviews also which I've not seen her do before as it normally does not occur on newsreading only shifts.
Sky generally have a couple of groups of people, presenters/anchors and newsreaders. and it's rare the second category make it into a shift that is occupied by the first.

Does anyone know if they are going to have a set presenter standing in for Anna Botting or are we just getting whoever is available like we have the last 2 weeks?
Kelvin McKenzie is on the press preview tonight having a heated debate with Mehdi Hasan and constantly talking over each other, Kelvin also mentioned about Sky News having 3 viewers and how little he gets paid for doing it
Lukwesa is also back on the overnight news for the first time in 3 or 4 weeks
