A post on Instagram suggests the sofa area of the old Sky News Centre set is being dismantled to make way for the Election set.

Owing to wheelchair access issues, whenever I've appeared on-screen, that's the set we've used.

Do you reckon I should brace myself for an invitation to present? Wink

There's a queue..............

And I shall be sitting four feet from the desk with a direct hotline to Sky security and an especially "affectionate" Rottweiler.

So, y'know, good luck! Wink

Did it somehow involve the words "sadness" and "eyes"?

Have some of the TVs screens from the balcony behind the presenters disappeared. There only seems to be a group of 4 screens, could be wrong but sure there used to be more

Most if not all the screens have returned - I counted 14 up there this morning

I knew that grappling hook I keep in my airing cupboard would come in useful eventually!

Does the glass box still work into the same gallery as the "old" studio?

Great news. It was a complete contrast to what they'd done before when it launched, but it has really grown on me with the smallish tweaks they've made to it. It looks particularly good during Sophy Ridge on Sunday.
