Looks like we have seen the last of the shoebox. According to Stephan Dixon, it will be in the skip along with the whole of the current weekend studio by next Christmas

Does this mean we have to wait until Christmas to see the new studio or is it because we mainly see the shoebox on Christmas Day these days?

I think you need to look up the word 'by'.

I think it means until in a temporal sense so it could be before Christmas.

Oh good, so there's hope for "The Max and Fido Show" yet, then? Laughing

Seriously, though, "the box" may get some ad hoc use between now and when what is presently known as Sky News Centre closes down (well before Christmas as things stand), but I reckon you'll be able to count the number of times it's used on the fingers of one hand.

Does anyone know why Kay is presenting from millbank instead of the glass box

I caught a bit of Sunrise for the first time in an age this morning...

I think this weather ticker would benefit from a divider of some sort - when it's in motion, it's really quite difficult to determine which temperature and symbol related to which of the (randomly ordered?) cities if you miss the start or end of the run:

I also thought it a strange decision this morning to do a feature on London Modest Fashion Week without showing any of the fashion - not sure if there was a technical issue, or just bad planning. Mariah Idrissi was a great guest on the topic, though.

If you had an elephant's tusk disappearing up your jacksy, you wouldn't make eye contact with the camera either! Laughing

Hadn't even spotted that Shocked

Just seemed bizarre they were on set whilst Kay was doing a link into a clip before the interview.

They could do with a nice sofa there for interviews Laughing where else is Kay going to do her doggie features?
