A quick pointer to the pinned topic just put up, which in a nutshell is asking everyone to stay on topic and stop sniping at each others' posts. It may be therapeutic for the poster to rant but for most others it's a very tedious read. If deleting your posts doesn't make you think "why did I bother" then warnings and bans might.

Apologies for my post about the email.

Moving on and although not always easy to make year on year rating comparisons for news channels due to it being affected by the events of the day it does look like recent changes haven't had a negative impact on ratings. Sunrise seems to be pretty much at the same level as it was with Eamonn, with the top ten shows overall still in about the same 200-300k ballpark.

Leaving aside the prima-facie headline, I can exclusively reveal that the glass box isn't equipped with a fly-swatter! Laughing

The live YouTube feed has opted out of normal output for the past 20 minutes - instead of following Kay in Washington and Jillian in the studio, it's broadcasting various shots inauguration shots with little spoken audio. Possibly a tech issue as there still going to breaks with the usual international fillers.

It may be like the rights issues for the presidential debates where Sky News on YouTube have had to use pool feeds instead. The Sky News app is streaming the normal service.

Correct. There's a big thick document issued not by the Obama or Trump camps but by an independent inaugural committee which lays out what can and can't be shown on various platforms by non-U.S. broadcasters, so unless I'm very much mistaken, it's not a thing that's peculiar to Sky.

Worth noting that NOW TV don't have the rights to stream the Sky News simulcast on Sky Atlantic, however NOW TV Box/Smart Box viewers can watch via the Sky News app or Freeview.
