So Sky News is now a hybrid of the NC with the wide pan shots into the studio and a BBC regional news magazine. Taking influence from both.
It continues Sky's clean and bland policy which has been on-screen since last year, taking it to the next level.

It's inoffensive but very, very bland.
Just like the graphics that have been around for the past year.
Reminds me a bit of the original ITN News Channel studio. Just, sort of.. nothing.
The view behind Colin and Jane is indescribably dull. A dark staircase and a view out on to the car park and what seems like some yellow safety railings.
Hopefully when they move the rest of the channel out into the other studio they are building, that will be a bit more impressive.
I think they've made the mistake of thinking that viewers should be as excited about their big new office building as they are. It's an office building, and looks like one.

There is on TV.
On YouTube (where a lot of the caps have came from) has the international feed which has skynews.com in place of the clock
Why is there no longer a clock on screen?

On the screenshots, they are from the live web video, unless you mean on the actual channel.
No clock. That would be the final straw.

11-1 was sat down, 1-2 was stood up - now 2pm onwards they are sat down again
Not keen on the side angle used for standing by the the screen - it often cuts bits off the top and bottom at the left hand side
straight on shot makes the screen look curved which looks a mess too

I wondered if they were now finished with the Osterley Studio and would use Milbank for evening & overnights?
9pm - 6am will come from the current sky news centre for at least the rest of this year
edit - just noticed they call this new studio sky news centre on the split screen interviews
