Sky News presentation - New studio onwards

Every time I watch coverage from the glass box there is more and more background elements and lighting and less and less of an office look about it with more and more additional lighting elements added to it.

It's like they are trying to save face by doing it very very very slowly hoping nobody notices much. It's actually slowly starting to look like a studio now even if the view in front of the stairs is still horrible.

I think it's looking great. It's a much more flexible space than they have in the old studio and they're using it well.

With the unexpected death of George Michael on Christmas Day, it appears Sky are using the Press Preview guests to contribute during the breaking news in the 2300 hour.

The last 2 Sunrise shows have come from the old Sunrise Shoe Box with just Kay Burley on her own

Sophy Ridge on Sunday trail.

That looks awful

Intriguing documentary with Katie Stallard in North Korea but shockingly bad audio levels - all over the place.

She always sounds like that.....

I prefer the 'shoebox' section of the old sky news studio for sunrise. It feels much more relaxed. I also like the presentation with only one presenter. I think it would be much better if just Sarah or Jonathan presented
