What a mess! You would've thought that they would have chosen a tighter angle or a wide shot within the studio while they set that tree up. Showing a cherry picker and a load of planks just looks unprofessional in my view. Will be intriguing what will replace all of those trees after Christmas as it's going to look very empty once they've all been removed.

The cherry picker had broken down apparently! It was all fixed speedily.
I have to say I really dislike the set (or lack there of).
The background is often distracting, as people walk past and the presenters and guests look uncomfortable.
To me it looks like they're just in a permanent OB from a shopping centre or something and the glass and big kind of makes it seem very cold.
Frankly, it reminds me of a cardiac hospital I have had to frequent in Dublin. That kind of blandly clinical looking glass atrium with people going up and down in lifts and waking around.
The sets isn't growing on my either, just looking boring and unfinished.
When they switch to the other studios it just shows how dull the new one is. Whether it's Westminster, the main studio or Sky Sports News update they are full of deep blues and red. You then switch back to the glass box and it's all the same beige again.
Saw sunrise for the first day last week and couldn't believe how many times the desk moved position during the programme, must be a right faf doing that all the time and running out of shot for the weather update
After more than 7 years I have decided to refrain from watching Skynews. A hard decision, but sadly overdue. The Glassbox is the main reason, though not the only one. It is tough to see how this great channel has changed in the last months. I would like to keep it in good memory with the great US election coverage. Now it's time for the BBC and euronews.
