How many refreshes has that studio actually gone through?
The default one was changed a few years later when they put a new desk in, then one for Sky News HD, then there was another where they removed the newswall, the last one for the general election - did I miss any?
Edit: A bad tribute really seeing as they messed up near the end.

That was quite a muted send-off for Sky Centre. I had expected a little montage which included the first opening sequence, perhaps a couple of the redesigns over the years, and at least a sweeping final shot - although I expect much of the kit has already gone.
A little disappointed, really.

Personally I felt the set in 2005 was overkill. The Era that followed from the launch of Sky News HD was best for me.

Basically, if your EPG shows logos instead of text names, then the logo has been updated.
Not on Sky Q - still the old logo!
OK. Except on Sky Q, all logos on EPGs have been updated. I don't have Sky Q so I didn't even know that it uses logos. Well, at least I've learnt something.

I've seen photos of the Studio this morning where a lot of the furniture had gone, the shoebox mini desk was there but the table and sofa had gone and it looked like a bit of a ghost town as well.
Probably best not to see the blue light bars that are out of vision as well as some have lost their original colour and are varying shades of blue and white and some have gone a little purple.

Couldn't agree more. I have always been a real advocate of Sky News but I have got to admit it is a shadow of its former self. Creativity has also left the building tonight!! John Ryley has a lot to answer for !!
Rewatching the 2005 relunch videos and that original set is still unmatched. The way it was used, all the different presenting points, how everything was connected. Just amazing!
