Sky News presentation - New studio onwards

All the practices have been using the new logo so therefore I would expect it to be in use the moment the glass box / new studio come in use.

I don´t understand then why they have been using a new blue background on the big screen for the last 6 months when they are going back to the same old white background.

I mean for the big screen in the glass box. Pictures showed the new logo on the old white background.

Disappointing if the lower thirds are remaining - never been a fan. They look untidy, the previous ones were much better.

Bear in mind that this update is tiny. Most of the output will come from glass box/millbank as usual

The big white bar at the bottom is still very distracting IMO.

Somebody also said on Twitter around the time when the glass box launched, that the new studio would come with a new theme tune but as thinks look this is also not the case.

I've always thought that looked odd. It wouldn't be so bad if it changed to yellow with the ticker when there's breaking news.

I don't like that white bar either, nor do I like how the live bug graphics extend off the screen as wel, prefer them when they were just as big as needed rather than that margin on the right.

Seen three guests in different locations have sound problems in the last 20 minutes not being able to hear Kay.

Are they fully using the new building for production now? Seems there are some teething issues with communications.

Kay has just confirmed that Sky are having all sorts of communication issues due to having two studios running at the moment. Wonder if it's related to just the current studio or something more to do with issues communicating from the new production suite.
