What?! No shoebox for christmas day!

Haven't seen the Shoebox used for about a week now - they suddenly stopped using it, despite making extensive use of it for several weeks until then.

I guess they did it to show Christmas images on the big screen behind Kay, but it feels less laid back compared to previous years, but thanks to the Christmas image it doesn't feel totally formal.

Sky obviously thought for many years the shoebox was better than the desk hence why they used the former, but changing times it seems.

Now in the US the stations and networks typically do their own headshots/promotional pictures with their creative services departments. So Was this the sort of thing Louisa hired for or was Light Hackers hired for the job by Sky?

Another way of using the massive screen when the back half hour filler is on.

Any word on what the aspect ratio of the wall is? I found a link from Anna Valley displays saying they wanted it close to 16:9 and greater than 4K resolution.

Although that screenshot looks like whoever got the feed showing the ashes put it on the wall in 4:3 ratio.

Yet if it was, I'd expect the BT Sport live dog text to be bigger than that, and like the score bar vanishing off the right hand edge of the screen.

The scorebox graphics from BT look superimposed - they're out of canter with the actual footage.

It's mid-animation. Looking at the screen, the batsmen are leaving the field.
