I have never actually listened to LBC London News, just the main LBC radio station - but the cosy relationship with Sky is clear.

Does LBC have a relationship with Sky or are they just using Sky content made available to them via IRN?

Other than content sharing, maybe not, but many LBC Hosts praise Sky and dislike the BBC - Nick Ferrari hosts The Pledge, etc.

Nick (and James O'Brien) has also presented Newsnight this year so its not that simple

As LBC is Global Radio's talk radio outlet, and Global Radio is IRN's biggest customer

Global is also majority shareholder in IRN

Hmm. Something in the dregs of my memory thought that IRN was fully owned by Sky, and were sold it by ITN (and smaller shareholders) when they lost the news provision contract at the last tender award?

As Sky already were supplying a number of stations a news audio cut and rip'n'read wire feed (I was working at one them) and ITN lost out on the lowest tender bid to retain the TOH network news contract.
Sky News Radio won it, and took the existing stations they already provided news for, along with the many more stations from the IRN contract.

Claudia presenting standing up in front of the newsroom background, thought it was different studio at first as never seen that position before!

Sky News own 19.7% of IRN, with Wireless Group owning 3.4%. Global owns 54.6% and the remaining 22.3% is owned by Bauer.

Kinda weird actually that Global mostly own IRN considering they don't use the IRN bulletins on their output at all. Not even sure they use that much in the way of audio from them either.
London Lite and Hatton Cross gave kudos

I'm sure this has been discussed before, so forgive me if this covers old ground, but has Sky News abandoned the glass box? I saw Sarah Jane Mee presenting from the old studio the other day; is this just a temporary Christmas thing or has the glass box gone for good?

You could do a search on here, but as it's Christmas..

It's out of action for a few weeks, whilst it's plumbed in to the new control gallery.
