You see I don't like the white theme that Sky use for everything, but it shows that when you don't use too much white and you use nice images like that skyline, it can still work.
What looks out of place with the new logo is the use of CAPS everywhere apart from the logo, note that when the other Sky channels lost their capital letter logos the graphics they used also cut back on their use of capitals.
Looks nice, let’s hope all shows return to a sandard opener then, as shows like AllOut Polictics look a bit of a mess.

The new Sky News logo has just appeared on the background screen of Ian King Live with a new graphic on the screens.
Not sure it was intentional since the old graphics were used for the first 20 minutes and the end of the show the big screen was using the old graphics as was the closing card.
The background image is much better, I far prefer the skyline view to the solid blue.

Obviously someone put the wrong 1 on the screens. it was the city skyline that got my attention and I thought I'm sure that's new but I've not seen Ian King Live for a few weeks and then I spotted the logo. I tried to put an image up myself but Metropol came up with an error on the uploader.
Whilst I also prefer it to the blue id prefer it if they showed more of the image and less of the white at the top

How is it possible to make it look so clinical but yet so cluttered at the same time? Obviously they need to have the screens with news feeds but it really looks messy having them staggered not only up and down but also closer and further away in a line. And then they've also squeezed in a portrait screen for the website feed. Makes the whole office look claustrophobic.
I can see a fair few trips possibly happening over those diagonal desk legs too. Won't take very long for them to get a battering!
