There are practical reasons for each of them.
A Baby Shard studio makes it easier for quality business guests to come into the studio over Millbank.
Millbank is the Westminster studio (a presence we would have regardless of whether there was a studio or not), and is the base for our political correspondents. This is a vital studio for guests for all stories, let alone MPs, who need easy access in Central London without taking the 30+ minute ride to Osterley.
Sky Studios in Osterley will be where the newsroom is based - producers, editors... everyone under one roof. It'll be more practical to broadcast here between 9pm and 6am when Sky Central is quieter.
As nice as it is not to have the same studio 24/7, and there are practical reasons to have at least two, four is a bit excessive isn't it?

That will look just awful when Sky UK simulcasts Sky News Arabia or when viewers simultaneously watch both channels.
Are there any plans to revamp the look of Sky News Arabia? The UK Sky News and Arabia versions are going to end up looking completely different on screen.

SNA´s onscreen graphics have already been adapted to the UK style.

Monitors showing Sky News seem to have popped up in the offices behind Kay. Plus there's the colourful Sky Arts wall downstairs.
It may have all been there before, but not seen it in the time and angles I've watched so far.
Has anyone else noticed too, occasionally on a live from Westminster, or elsewhere, the sound sync is well out, but then something is adjusted and corrected a bit abruptly.

I think it's a shame they didn't use the opportunity presented by the new studio to change the on air graphics.
