This indicates why Tom is probably looking the way he is. Probably far easier for him to face that way with that set-up.

It makes you realise just how tight the studio is since refurbishment.

That view was only used for the first couple of minutes.

I believe that the studio doesn't anymore allow for the kind of view we had before it was changed for the election, unfortunately it seems far less versatile now.

Kay has mentioned a big announcement tomorrow a couple of times on her Instagram story. Any guesses?

When is the new studio done? Strange posts on twitter about Sunrise and a "different" and "new" studio, I assumed it was about moving back to the old studio but maybe not.

I never had a problem with the big screen in Sky News Center but it has problems with white showing plain white clearly, very blocky, not so apparent with other colours.

I believe that desk used since the election is not able to rotate, therefore the backdrops cannot be changed anymore and News at Ten and other programs have to be presented in front of the gallery.

I'd prefer them to present the whole thing like that with a wide shot of the screen like used on Sunday with Niall Patterson was using at the start, the whole Tom to the side of the Desk with the screen to the right of him and all the mics showing doesn't look good.

New studio will be on air around new year time. They are in the old studio because they are setting up automated cameras in the box
