Will we see the return of Press Preview from the newswall with the sofas in the interim?

I hope not, it always looked awkward and silly, especially coming from the much more suitable shoe box.

I can’t wait to see the Sky News Centre back on air again, even if it’s just for a month or so.

Do enjoy it - it's the last hurrah before we all move out of the building!

When are you starting work on the glass box/moving back in temporarily to the blue studio

I thought you had a source who was giving you all the info about everything happening at Sky? Confused

You should know by now that Freddie is - as Skygeek would say - "Not at liberty to comment"... though Freddie's use of that phrase should be taken rather more literally...

Really can we stop hearing about SkyGeek and various quips about him, at times I feel this thread is almost about him and it's getting annoying Sad

It would seem that the Press Preview will be back on the sofas as suggested by Tom

Start of today's Sunrise Stephen said they were back in the old studio for a while, just for a couple of months. Give ourselves a change over Christmas.

Nice to see the Sky News Centre back one final time. I've always been a fan of the wide shot of the gallery and the laptop is much more impressive than the screen in the glass box. I will miss the vanity shot of the box going into the breaks and of course the forest of Christmas trees Razz

Having a look at tweets to Stephen today and nobody seems to like the box but he replied to someone.... Glass box is MUCH nice to work in. But technical stuff has to be done. Back to the newer, fresher look in the new year

If it’s technical stuff maybe they are building out the new gallery?

Now, lets get it straight. My source is a sky news presenter and maybe i just wanted to ask on here! My source is very reliable, as some of you use his twitter for updates on things at sky news

I hope they make some change to the box so it doesn't look so bare. That is what I like about the old studio, it has substance.

BTW, I suspect what just happened (with the basket balls and something that was said) about 10 minutes ago is going get some people "triggered".

The weather just now was so far zoomed out for some reason?

So much so the day name graphic was almost in the middle of the screen?
