Yes, he also appeared on the IRN news clips today as well which I thought was very rare.

It would be though, because Sky News didn’t go on air for another 15 months (5th February 1989), to make 30 years she must be counting the time she spent with the station before launch.

She appeared on Tv-am on Oct 16th 1987 with Anne Diamond on that day in a recently posted YouTube video ( very subdued and nervous looking alongside AD !) So either she left Tvam that month, or she can’t count

It would be nice to know where her starting point is with it all. Despite when she actually joined Sky News, I'd say for many her milestone with Sky should be when she first appeared on-screen as a Sky News presenter.

Kay Burley, according to this video was on TV-am (as a reporter) as early as April 1986:
