Sky News presentation - New studio onwards

The font used for the channel name is custom made by Miles Newlyn who designed the font and sky logo. Its thicker than the light weight, but thinner than the regular weight. I also think the letters are tweaked per logo, as there are some inconsistencies with the Sky Sports logos, like the b in football , and the b in box office

I found that. I had to mess a bit with the outline of the text to try and increase the weight to be similar to that of the Sky Sports logo.

Kind of bored of the white and red logo... maybe they could try something a bit different?

As much as I like that I feel it's too similar to the sports set. I feel the yellow and black would be a more likely design if there was a colour change.

Black and Red could look nice, I think there is scope to change the logo, especially with all the on-screen graphics moving to white, the logo would stand out better

Love the black, it brings it the, well, seriousness that a news channel should have back to it that isn't as prominent when 'news' isn't in caps (if that makes sense...)

It could work... maybe

I reckon there will be blue if anything, based on nothing other than they appear to like using blue backgrounds for the screen these days!

Turns out they mirrored the multi-colouring.
