Murdoch isn't bothered about accuracy or detail. For him the news is the bit between the adverts.
I think you vastly over-estimate Mr. Murdoch's editorial influence over Sky News, at least in the UK. Insofar as I can tell, it is quite literally non-existent.
I expect you're right, as since Faisal replaced Adam and Joey left, Sky News has become Guardian TV!!
Of course it could be a Murdoch masterplan to get the Fox take over through the left wing establishment run Ofcom.
Someone at Sky News Australia thinks that Sinn Fein is a person.

Went back through the YouTube stream which allows one to go back four hours, the ticker seemed to run out of text at about 6:20.

No clock on Sunrise this morning. But they had the Belgian time on screen, when they crossed to Mark Stone in Brussels.

Looks like the ticker suffered a breakdown - it's an ominous sign when it runs out of text.
The lower thirds (except from name supers in VTs) come from a producer who is writing the straps and animating them on screen as needed.
Everything at the top of the screen (such as live location tags, picture credits and everything else - as well as name supers in VTs) come from a different chyron. So that's why the time in Brussels was able to come up!

Fairly simple answer to this one.
Where the Sky Cameras were there were no protests at the time of Jeremy Corbyn's Speech.
I can assure you there is no bias in Sky.
Sky show Jeremy Corbyn's speech in full screen, full sound. Now it's Theresa May's turn and they split the screen with demo and drown out the sound.
Why have the left been able to take over Sky News?

It's not unfair and I would say it's within the remit of this forum to question bias. It's cleary not the case in the instance however.
Calm down mate, focus on presentation, not politics.

Yup - this!
I'm sick and tired - on a broad level not limited to TVF - of people kvetching about specific instances of what they perceive as media bias simply because it doesn't reflect their own biases at that or any given moment.
It also just isn't true, and can I please urge the mods to delete any posts that may yet go down the road of: "Well, you would say that, wouldn't you?" (... including this one, if necessary!)
It becomes a circular discussion, and I'm sure most of us have better things to do anyway. I certainly do - it's my birthday and I'm headed out for a steak dinner!

To be fair as much as I respect you and what you bring to the conversation, I don't think you should be dictating to mods. People are entitled to opinions as long as they're relevant to what the forums about just we're entitled to put them right if they're wrong or we believe they are wrong. So I don't think mods should be deleting accusations of media bias. But I agree with your first paragraph.
We all know for example how the right and the left both think the BBC is bias is against them. I think in reality there is no bias in the broadcast media. Even LBC which has the likes of Farage and Hopkins (although think they parted company) balances it out with the very intelligent and articulate James O'Brien on the left.

Thing is - I do think accusations of bias against any broadcaster (unless there's a provable "smoking gun") get too deep-into-the-weeds. All I'm saying is I know where these conversations go, and it isn't a productive place.
