Back to the point of this forum (TV presentation) Any updates yet on the new studio? Surprised we haven't seen any sneak peeks yet.

Because it doesn't yet exist, and everything has been moved back by the unexpected election, although I'm not at liberty to say by how much.

Understandable. Damn election! A quick question Skygeek on last night's debate show. I take it the new studio will be based in the Sky News branded building we saw the exterior of last night? A few close-ups suggested it's kitted out for staff but not in use by them yet.

No, that's an administrative building, actually, and the sign was just a bit of set dressing.

The new newsroom (and a small-ish studio) will be in the Sky Studios building (the one you saw May and Corbyn walking into last night), but the vast majority of studio output will still come from the glass box.

I'm not at liberty to discuss specific plans with regard to output, which is why I've kept what I've said very generic.

I think the admin office used is where NOW TV is based.

That's actually a different one altogether.

NOW TV is based in The Hub - which is the building that had the Sky News logo on it last night.

Lord Sugar accuses Sky of bias towards Corbyn.

This shows that sky news IS NOT BIASED. First people are saying that they have a huge Tory bias but now they have a labour bias? These people who are claiming bias need to make their mind up

Yet we have people claiming the BBC is pro-Tory.

BBC pro-right, Sky pro-left, has the world turned upside down.

Youtuber Tom Scott has a good way of putting it:

When broadcasters have received an equal number of complaints from each side, they think they've done their job about right.

Not wishing to get into the politics too much it's worth noting that Lord Sugar resigned as a Labour peer back in May 2015 due "losing confidence in the party due to their negative business policies and general anti-enterprise concepts". He had also "sensed a policy shift moving back towards what Old Labour stood for". (Quotes taken from http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-32692668.) It's probably worth baring that in mind when considering his claims over Sky News having a bias towards Corbyn.
