The thing is with the current election graphics (straps and splitscreen background) I cannot see any relation to an election in the United Kingdom other than the parties' colours. Usually they always had something which represented the UK such as those alterations of the Union Jack.

Sky News correspondent in Washington, but the backdrop is just the regular Sky blue blurred thing. Would look better to me if they had a Washington backdrop, otherwise it just looks like he's coming from another part of the studio. Or is that too BBC?

Around 08:35 yesterday they had a problem with 1 of the cameras going for a wonder whilst talking about the car chase in LA you hear a little crash noise and Paula says I actually thought I was about to be hit by camera 6 which bashed into... has that guy got a licence. Stephen: No it probably hasent...The problem is that all our camera...they are called Radamec...they are like Daleks they move about on their own , they are all robotic.
They then ask Camera 6 if its ok and it nods
Paula: Its very weird being chased around by robotic cameras
Stephen: Honestly on that note, the things we have to put up with here its a bit like living in a sci-fi movie

Stephen should be thankful he isn't presenting on the BBC News channel then with the amount of camera hiccups there!
If you are on Periscope, Kay has been broadcasting some great behind the scenes pictures from Osterley & Millbank over the past week or so. Really worth a watch.

Hopefully, at some point, you'll also get to see upstairs Studio D (the bulletin/debate/guest analyst studio) and the digital department (iPad/iPhone/Apple TV/Catch-Up).
