Is it always so badly lit?

It's either that, or my capturing equipment is playing up... Smile

The images I posted earlier are sufficient enough... I do wish you'd stop asking if people recorded stuff Stephen. We can't record every single minute of television presentation.

What if we all split the cost of a new TiVo Mega? http://custom.tivo.com/mega_products.html Wink

Sky News has launched on Snapchat today - providing a daily news summary in the afternoon.

Looks and feels very nice to use. Uses the Sky Text font too - which is seemingly creeping all over Sky News at the moment. Perhaps the look and feel of this (flat graphics and logo) is a hint at how Sky News might look in a few months time?

It's pretty good, although the 'flat' design is more Snapchat's doing, it shares a lot in style with some of the other bits that have appeared.

Interestingly, whilst the Sky News 'channel' uses a flat logo animation, the Sky Sports channel uses their standard glossy version.

We're got the 'Sunrise' logo on the big screen this morning, as opposed to the 'Sky News' logo we had Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. This really brightens the space up, it looks as though we have more apt lighting as well. Much more fitting for a breakfast programme.

TVF-ers might be interested to know that, as of today, you can now watch the entire inaugural bulletin from Sky News - presented by Penny Smith and Alastair Yates on Feb 5th, 1989 - on our Catch-Up service. (It's the very first entry in the "Vault" section and will be there permanently)

Is this going to be made available on the Now TV/Roku box app too?

I'll have to look into that, but it's certainly widely-available on YouTube, both through Sky's official channel and that of Alastair Yates.

AJ (and others],

You'll no doubt be delighted to hear that I have today put the inaugural bulletin on (as far as I know) all our "smart TV" platforms.

Now, if that isn't personalised service, I don't know what is! Wink
rob, AJ and bilky asko gave kudos
