Kay Burley seems much more at home when presenting from the Newswall, rather than the desk. Reminds me of the Afternoon Live days
Colin Brazier is doing a great job at the newswall. I am positively surprised that the former Sky News Today format, which was one of the most desk orientated ones, has now also interviews debates and statistics coming from the wall with the presenter standing in front of it!

This is incredibly trivial but I noticed that the blue swoosh that goes alongside the presenter's name strap at the TOTH had disappeared for a few days but is now back. I'm pleased as it looked odd to me without.

Or the could have just said that, geez.
Mark Longhurst just introduced Ed Conway at "The Big Screen". This could be its new official name. "Newswall" is now part of the past.

I had this problem for years here.
How would one go about watching sky news while abroad? I'm in Italy at the moment and can't seem to find a version to watch, the iPad feed seems to be locked for the UK too.

I thought it was a giant plasma screen! Looks good shame they didn't tweak the rest of the set. When Sky starts doing crazy stuff like Fox News then we know they've lost it!

I find that idea interesting, in one way its a great use of great technology and materials and it has a great design, but then on the other hand, the size of the screens and the whole white and red is terrible, and that ice cream cone in the centre, terrible! Its base isn't even integrated into the set floor. Sky News could take that idea and execute it much more elegantly.
