It's now a YouTube live stream and you can rewind four hours back through the output https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYlQJbsVs48

Out of interest, how far back can you rewind on iPlayer ?

2 hours.

Not geo-blocked. Am watching from Aus.

This is great, an HD stream for everyone to enjoy!

YouTube stream is pretty neat - probably something they should have done sooner really but another good initiative to try expand the channels reach (all be it bit by bit, there are currently 305 people watching).

Hopefully this is a permanent thing and not just to promote the new website and channel for a while.

Considering YouTube's Smart TV app is common, it's tempting to stream Sky News Intl instead of watching the SD UK version on Freeview.

I've not actually managed to stream live YouTube video to my Now TV box, it always states "this content has not been made available on this device". Don't know if it works on VM Tivo and other platforms. However I have managed it using the the 'play to roku' app.

I'll give it a go using the LG YouTube app later and report back. As I have the NOW TV app on LG, it doesn't give me all the apps available on the box.

If it works don't let Skygeek know he'll put a stop to it. Wink

Works fine on an Apple TV, although you would have to permanently have your iPad or iPhone on to AirPlay it.

On the contrary... I use the live stream on my laptop the moment I wake up on working days so I know what's going on when I get to the office, so I'm delighted there's an even more widely-publicised way for people to watch our output live.

Incidentally I work reasonably closely with the responsible team, so if your issues persist over the coming days and weeks, drop me a private message (don't want to sidetrack this thread) and I'll pass along as many queries as I can.
