Not for a TV presentation forum! Sky News is in much need of a graphics refresh and today would have been the perfect time to do it.
Is Ian King (presumably the replacement for Jeff Randall) that popular - surely would make more sense for JT to go through to 7pm and then business to be a stronger component of Sky News Tonight.
Nice to see double headed bulletins back on Sky News. It's a shame there hasn't been a graphics refresh to go with today's changes, but the format and content is obviously more important.

You are totally right! They missed the opportunity again! Pitiful! Concerning SNT, I was frustrated by Adam, presenting with his hands in his trouser pockets. And again the same old annoying stimg music. The glass panels were rather nice though.

Not only laptops but those ugly chairs as well.
I have to say I agree with previous comments with regards to the laptops making the set look too cluttered. Especially when tonight's Sky News Tonight was actually quite good, and their use of the 'giant iPad' (As I've seen it described) made it look more pleasing to the viewer.

Does anyone else feel that the Westminster studio is becoming far more superior to Sky News centre? Westminster is a much smaller space, yet the space is utilised much move effectively. Sky centre just feels so dated now. If the fins were removed and the newsroom was opened up a bit more, it might appear a bit better and less cluttered (Along with a new desk). Either that or using the big screen as a backdrop for sky news today and go back to a design similar to that prior to the 2005 move.

Welcome to the forums, I agree with the post also.

I prefer Adam Boulton outside Downing Street and being riled by Alastair Campbell.

Perhaps these on screen graphic changes, and music changes we're wishing for will come at a later date, perhaps next year? I'd imagine they would want to see how this double header stuff works first with the audiences, and get their feedback.

This is exactly what I thought as well, they first would like to test it, and if it works (hopefully) they make further changes as a new desk and graphics and so on. This would explain why 2 Labtops on that desk look strange as it is only a temporary thing. Interesting that Jayne and Colin changed sites today.
