When you say
6am – 9am – Sunrise presented by Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster

does that mean that Sunrise will officially become double headed, as opposed to the 2007 approach, with possible format changes? Or are you just referring to it as it is now, with Isabel as co-host in all but title?

Tidies it up nicely. While the NC is removing double headed presentation, Sky is re-introducing it.

Also glad to see the end of the 9-10am hour with the Sunrise headline bulletin presenter.

I take it Friday will still be Stephen and Gillian on Sunrise?

Correct

Interesting how the single coloured Sky News logo is being featured on that logo. Especially when looking at those odd Sky Sports 3 logos which were tweeted out.

I would love to have a new theme tune, the current one has become so repetitive Sad And like to have the Live from the skynewscentre voiceover back.

Really it isn't repetitive, it is played once an hour and the actual sound of it is a big build up. Nothing about it is repetitive. I mean, if the Sky News theme is repetitive, what the hell does the make the BBC's?!?!

They obviously realised it was useless, when scrapped, they were already using location voiceovers for when anchors were on location, which meant that the Live form the Sky News Centre part would be scrapped on those occasions anyway.

Some alterations to the Sky News Westminster set:

I saw them putting this in last week. It's three big screens on the newsroom wall, and the thing that looks like a desk is another screen. It'll be interesting to see how it's used - I'm guessing this will be Sky News Tonight's equivalent to the newswall.

Probably a new version of the SkyStrator?

If anything, that is more repetitive. Same fast drumbeat going on and on, and the main melody sounds childish. The current bed seems more newsy. They do have other beds that have been used more recently though.

Fantastic to see that the editorial elements of this revamp are central to the discussion. Rolling Eyes

I care about editorial elements more, just trying to prove the ever annoying, but Sky dedicated, skyviewer's points wrong.
